
Damian Dixon joined the Triton coaching staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2020. He enters his fifth year assisting the program in the 2024-25 season.

Dixon coached alongside Bryan Galuski as an assistant coach at Greensboro (N.C.) College from 2014-2017, also working alongside EC assistant coach Chakiris Moss. While working for his alma mater, Dixon was responsible for player development, scouting opponents, film, and additional basketball operation duties.

Dixon played four years as a Guard at Greensboro under Galuski. He received numerous accolades in his time with the Pride, including a two-time USA South All-Conference selection, two-time USA South All-Tournament Team, and NCCSIA All-State Second Team in 2012-13. He ended his career ranking fifth in scoring with 1,277 points, third in rebounds, third in 3-pointer's made, and fifth in steals.
Dixon also played two semi-pro seasons with the Greensboro Cobras from 2014-2016.
Dixon graduated from Paul R. Wharton High School in Tampa in 2010. During his senior year, he led the basketball team to a school-record 27-2 season, including a 25-game win streak before falling to St. Pete High School in the regional semi-finals.
Dixon graduated from Greensboro College in 2015 with a bachelor's degree in Science. He graduated with a masters of science in Counselor Education at Florida International University in 2020.
