Biography

2014 (Junior): Named to the 2014 SSC Fall Commissioner's Honor Roll...Finished top 10 in the conference dishing out 6.76 assists per game...Totaled 777 assists n 2014, good enough for 10th all-time in a single season...Went over 200 digs in a season for the first time in her career ending the year with 204...In her first three seasons she has collected 1,636 assist, seventh all-time at Eckerd College...Reached 40 or more assists in three matches throughout the season setting a career high of 45 against Florida Tech (Nov. 15).

2013 (Sophomore): Named to SSC Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll…Appeared in all 30 matches during sophomore campaign…Totaled 58 appearances in first two seasons as a Triton…Finished second on the team in assists averaging 4.0 per set…Notched a career mark in assists with 34 against Rio Piedras (Sept. 14)…Topped 140 digs for the second consecutive season…Ran off a string of 10 straight contests with double figures in assists.

2012 (Freshman): Named to the SSC All-Newcomer Team…Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll…Transitioned from high school as a key part of the offense with immediate contributions in a two-setter system…Ranked 11th in the SSC in assists per set...Averaged 4.55 assists per set while playing in 28 of 31 matches on the season…Produced 153 digs defensively…Handed out 20 or more assists in 10 matches, including a string of four straight in the middle of the season...Helped run the offense to the tune of what turned out to be her career-high to date with 28 assists against Chestnut Hill (Pa.) College (Aug. 31)…Turned in double-digit assist totals in every match with the exception of two…Dealt a season-best four service aces against Lynn University (Nov. 9)…In the match prior, dug out a career-best 13 attack attempts against Saint Leo University (Nov. 3).

Prior to Eckerd: Completed an impressive four-year career while attending Thomas Jefferson High School in Bloomington...Three-time All-South Suburban Conference selection...Named the Bloomington Sun-Current Player of the Week...Also lettered in track and competed in shot put and discus events...Helped the Mizuno Minnesota's One 16-1s to a third-place showing at the AAU's 16 Open...With the Lights 17-1s, helped the unit win top honors at the Omaha President's Day 17 Open, bring home third at the AAU's 17 Open and compete in the U.S. Junior Olympics in the 17 Open...Also a member of the U.S. Volleyball High Performance Girls Continental Select Team in 2009...Coached by Michelle Grice.

Personal: Born June 2...Daughter of Chris and Sue Schadow...Has an older brother, Brian...Enjoys drawing, photography, fashion design and ceramics...Chose Eckerd over the University of West Florida, Southwest Minnesota State University and the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs, among others.
