2011-12 (Senior): Named to the NABC Honors Court…Named to SSC Commissioner’s Spring Honor Roll…Ranks tied for fourth in career games played (114), 15th all-time field goals attempted (764) and 18th in field goals made (346)…Also ranks fifth in free throws attempted (485), fourth in free throws made (320) and 14th in points scored (1,072)…Recipient of the Triton Award presented at the athletics banquet…Started and played in all 30 games…Averaged 11.8 points per game in his final season, scoring a season-high 24 against Puerto Rico-Bayamon and Lynn University…Joined the elite 1,000-point club against the University of Tampa (Jan. 11) in his career…Made just under 48 percent of his tries from the field…Came up with 48 steals and averaged 3.1 rebounds per game…Sank 12 free throws in the season opener against Southeastern University (Nov. 16).
2010-11 (Junior): Finished third on the team in scoring (10.2 ppg) and played in 29 games (starting seven)...Had career-high 24 points in season-opening victory over North Alabama on Nov. 12...Averaged 21 ppg in two-day SSC-Gulf South Conference Classic...Scored in double figures 14 times and also had six assists in a pair of games...Started final four games of the year.
2009-10 (Sophomore): Played in all 28 games, including two starts...Scored a career-high 23 points against Saint Augustine's on Dec. 15...Was part of strong early stretch, as he scored in double figures in eight of the first nine games...Finished third on team in scoring...Was named to the SSC Commissioner's Honor Roll following the spring semester.
2008-09 (Freshman): Appeared in all 27 games, averaging 5.9 points per game...Averaged just under 10 points per game while shooting 60 percent from the field in the Tritons' last seven contests...Notched a season-high 16 points against Lynn (2/7/09).
Prior to Eckerd: Played for coach Ehren Wallhoff at Westminster Academy…Was an All-Dade and Broward County player, as well as All-American Nominee…He also was part of the state champion track & field team, earning All-County and MVP honors…
Personal: Born on April 13th…Son of Wayne and Mia Sears…Has a younger sister, Diamond…Favorite player is Vince Carter, and favorite team is The Boston Celtics…He chose Eckerd College because of the coaching staff and education.
