Biography

AS A JUNIOR (2008-09): Started all 27 games for Eckerd while proving to be a stat sheet stuffer, averaging 9.3 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.07 assists per game...Registered three double-doubles...Scored a season-high 18 points and nine rebounds against Saint Leo (1/21/09)...Scored 15 points, including eight in overtime, in the Tritons' come-from-behind win at Saint Leo (2/25/09).

Eckerd College: Enters his junior season after making an immediate impact on the Eckerd College basketball program…In his first year as a Triton, he took on a big leadership role and logged key minutes for the Tritons…Being the most versatile guard on the team, he gladly took on the task of playing three different positions in almost every game…Whether he was at the point guard or the small forward position, his presence was always felt…He is a super athletic guard who has the ability to get to the lane and finish around the basket…With his quickness and strength he is also a lockdown defender and a great rebounding guard…This season Lampley will be expected to be a team leader and play extended minuets as an experienced guard…

High School:A 2005 graduate, he played for Coach Michael Wells at Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg, Florida...Was nominated to the McDonald’s All-America team and was named All-Conference during his high school years.

Personal: Son of Tommy Sr. and Armanda Lampley...Born June 11th...Majoring in Business Management...He has three brothers and sisters, Tommy Jr. (22), Ariel (18), and Joseph (14)…a fan of Michael Jordan and the Dallas Mavericks, Lewis loves playing basketball…He feels that his ball handling, passing skill, rebounding and defense help him contribute to the team…When he graduates from Eckerd he wants to stay in the basketball field and take up coaching…He chose Eckerd because it allowed him to join a unique group and to be on a winning team.
