2011 (Freshman): Named to SSC All-Newcomer Team...AVCA All-South Region Honorable Mention Team selection...Named to the Eckerd Invitational All-Tournament Team...Made instant impact in her first season on the right side, appearing in all 32 matches and compiling 249 kills...Averaged 2.18 kills per set...Ranked 20th in the SSC in hitting percentage (.261)...Helped lead the Tritons over top-ranked University of Tampa (Oct. 28) with 17 kills in a five-set thriller...Collected 11 kills against No. 15 Lewis (Ill.) Personal: Born on June 9, 1993 in Greensboro, N.C...Daughter of William and Joanne McAlvany...Has two older sisters (Jessica and Nicole) and a younger sister (Molly)...Both older sisters play college volleyball (Jessica at Emory University and Nicole at Rhodes College)...Chose Eckerd due to the atmosphere, the location and the volleyball program.
