2013 (Junior): Named to SSC Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Earned All-Sunshine State Conference Second Team… The six foot outside hitter started in 29 of the teams 30 matches…Finished sixth in the SSC kills (3.09/set) and points (3.55/set)…Tallied a season high 23 kills against UT (Nov. 8)…Finished second on the team in kills (324), points (372.5) and service aces (27)…Moved into ninth on the all-time kills list at EC (980).

2012 (Sophomore): Converted from the right side to the outside hitter position for a breakout sophomore campaign…AVCA Third Team All-American…AVCA All-South Region Team…First Team All-SSC…SSC Offensive Player of the Week (Oct. 29)…Named to the SSC Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll…Selected as the team’s MVP at the annual end-of-the-year athletics banquet…Started 30 of 31 matches on the season while seeing court time in all…Finished second on the team in kills (407), kills per set (3.48), service aces (32), and attack attempts (1,024) only behind fellow AVCA All-American teammate Lindsay Biggs…Compiled an attacking percentage of .241 throughout the season…Developed impressive defensive dig numbers with 305 (2.61 per set), ranking third on the team…Produced 16 kill/dig double-doubles on the season...Came through with 56 total blocks…Single-season kill total ranks eighth all-time in school history…Her 3.48 kills per set average ranks 10th best in single-season history…On pace for nearly 1,300 kills in her career after just two seasons at the collegiate level…Ripped a career-high 32 kills against Northwood (Mich.) University (Sept. 8) early in the season to set the tone for a five-set win…Produced a personal-best 20 digs while the Tritons brought down Rollins College (Sept. 22)…Put up big offensive numbers again at Florida Southern College with 25 more kills (Sept. 29)…Came through with 17 kills and 15 digs against the same Mocs’ squad in the opening round of the NCAA Championship South Regional...Constructed a nine-match streak in the middle of the season with double-digit kill totals.

2011 (Freshman): Named to SSC All-Newcomer Team...AVCA All-South Region Honorable Mention Team selection...Named to the Eckerd Invitational All-Tournament Team...Made instant impact in her first season on the right side, appearing in all 32 matches and compiling 249 kills...Averaged 2.18 kills per set...Ranked 20th in the SSC in hitting percentage (.261)...Helped lead the Tritons over top-ranked University of Tampa (Oct. 28) with 17 kills in a five-set thriller...Collected 11 kills against No. 15 Lewis (Ill.) University in her collegiate debut...Credited with 76 total blocks (11 solo, 65 assisted)...Recorded a career-high 18 kills against Palm Beach Atlantic Univresity whille hitting at a .567 clip...Recorded season-best five blocks in matches against UNC-Pembroke and Rollins College (2x)...Helped the team hit .443 against Lynn University with 10 kills versus no errors in a quick sweep.

Prior to Eckerd: A two-time All-State selection at Blessed Trinity Catholic...Was also named area player of the year as a senior...Two-year captain.

Personal: Born on June 9, 1993 in Greensboro, N.C...Daughter of William and Joanne McAlvany...Has two older sisters (Jessica and Nicole) and a younger sister (Molly)...Both older sisters play college volleyball (Jessica at Emory University and Nicole at Rhodes College)...Chose Eckerd due to the atmosphere, the location and the volleyball program.
