2009 (Freshman): Played 30 matches, starting seven...Had season-high nine kills on two occasions, including an Oct. 31 SSC win against Florida Tech...Also notched seven total blocks against North Alabama on Oct. 17...Combined for 11 kills in the two NCAA South Region Tournament, including eight in first-round win over Nova Southeastern...Had six kills on just eight swings in Sept. 6 win against East Stroudsberg.

Prior to Eckerd: Played under Heidi Castelamare at River Ridge High School…Earned First Team All-Conference and Florida Athletic Coaches’ Association (FACA) Regional Player of the Year honors…In addition to sporting a 3.9 kills per set average for the Lady Knights, Laton was chosen as Pasco County All-Star MVP and to the Bradenton Southeastern All-Tournament Team.
