ORLANDO, Fla – Sunshine State Conference coaches have selected Eckerd third in the conference's preseason poll announced on Tuesday.
The Tritons are coming off arguably their best season in program history, finishing in second place in the regular season with a 6-2-2 conference record. The six victories were the most in league action ever and led to the team hosting an SSC Tournament game for just the second time in history.
Eckerd returns two All-Conference selections from 2025 in
Jasmine Gallo and
Amy Woodhead, as well as three-time SSC Defender of the Week,
Madi Winn, who leads a deep unit in goal. The Tritons allowed just five goals in eight league contests a season ago.
