SAINT LEO, Fla. -- The Eckerd women's tennis team competed at the Saint Leo Invitational over the weekend.
On Friday,
Catherine Cole and
Laura Ullrich earned wins in singles play, with Cole taking down her opponent from the host school in straight sets and Ullrich defeating her counterpart from Saint Leo in three. Singles competition saw more wins on Saturday as
Valentina Sanchez Bronzetti earned a 6-1, 6-4 victory over Saint Leo. Cole notched her second win of the weekend on Sunday with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Tampa.

Olivia Lindestaf collected the lone doubles triumph at the tournament on Sunday with an 8-3 over their opponents from Tampa.
The Tritons will round out their fall season on Oct. 31 - Nov. 2 at the Florida Southern Invitational.
