Ball, Eriksson Finish in the Top-20 at NCAA South Regional

GAINESVILLE, Ga. - Following an even-par final round, Melissa Ball finished tied for 12th at the NCAA South Regional. Sandra Eriksson capped the tournament with a 2-over 74 for a tied 18th-place finish on Wednesday. 

Melissa Ball (78-70-72) T12 

• Ball carded four birdies on the day and eight in the tournament. 
• She made the turn at 2-under today. 
• She posted 35 pars over the three rounds. 
• This was Ball's first postseason appearance. 
• She posted her third top-15 finish of the season. 

Sandra Eriksson (78-70-74) T18

• She posted three birdies on the day. She had 10 over the three rounds. 
• Eriksson birdied hole No. 4 each day. 
• She added 29 pars over the event. 
• This was Eriksson's second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and marked her final career event. 
• Her finish was the fifth top-20 finish of the season.
