Anna Jupin and
Brooke Hand were selected to the inaugural Sunshine State Conference Beach Volleyball Team, as announced by the conference on Thursday, April 10.
The duo was tabbed to the first team. The tandem posts a 9-6 mark, playing out of the top draw. They were selected as the SSC Pair of the Week on March 31, following a 3-0 week at the annual Battle on the Bay with wins over SSC opponents Palm Beach Atlantic and Tampa, as well as Division I Missouri State. Last week, they picked up a win over Division I Mercer.
From March 11-29, the duo won eight of their nine matches, going 4-1 over SSC opponents during the stretch.
Jupin, from Madison, Alabama, boasts a 9-12 overall mark this season, playing out of the top draw. Hand, from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Hand also posts a 9-12 overall record, playing out of the No. 1 and 2 positions.
Eckerd returns to action tomorrow at the SSC Championship at Saint Leo, facing off against Florida Southern at 8:30 AM.
