ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd softball team was dominant on both ends, racking up 15 runs behind 16 strikeouts in the circle to take the doubleheader from Felician (NJ) at the Turley Athletic Complex on Monday night but scores of 11-3 (6 innings) and 4-0.
Felician got the early jump in the opener, scoring a run on an error in the opening inning. However, Eckerd responded with three runs in the bottom of the frame, highlighted by Abby Lucas' two-run single for a 3-1 favor. The Tritons erupted for four runs in the third, including a RBI triple by Kinsley Castro.
EC added another two runs in the fourth for a 9-1 tilt. Meanwhile, Brandilyn Reymer kept the Falcon's bats at bay until the fifth inning, as a single broke up her no-hit bid before FU added a pair of runs. EC added a run in the fifth and sixth to seal the win in six innings.
Eckerd took an early lead in the finale with a pair of runs in the opening frame. An RBI double by Hannah Taylor in the third gave EC a 3-0 tilt before an Ella Coiner sacrifice fly put the Tritons up 4-0 in the fifth to seal the win.

- Addisan Langston, Abby Lucas, and Kinsley Castro added a pair of hits each in the opener, while Lucas had three RBIs. Ashley Cain posted two RBIs.
- Hannah Taylor went 3-for-3 in the finale with an RBI, while Lex Difato added a multihit game with two.
- Reymer earned the win in the opener, allowing just three hits while striking out 10. She logged double-digit strikeouts three times this season and added eight or more strikeouts in seven consecutive starts.
- Reese Founds earned her second win of the season in the finale, allowing just three hits while fanning six.
- Eckerd posted nine stolen bases as a team in the doubleheader. Lex Difato led the theme with three.
