ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd men's basketball team dropped the final game of the season to Lynn 110-73 at the McArthur Center on Saturday afternoon.
Lynn started the game on a 13-2 stretch over the first five minutes. The Knights followed with nine consecutive points before back-to-back Triton layups stopped the spirt. Eckerd cut its deficit to 12 at the 10:27 mark, but Lynn responded with a 14-4 run to take a 20-point advantage before taking a 52-27 lead at intermission. Lynn continued to cruise in the second half, talking the game 110-73.
