ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team fell to Embry-Riddle 6-1 at the Fred Bullard Courts on Saturday afternoon.
The Tritons (9-11) fell to the Eagles (14-5) after dropping the doubles point and five of six singles matches.
Eckerd dropped the top two singles matches 6-1, while Maialen Idiakez and Olivia Lindestaf put up three game wins, falling 6-3 in the No. 3 position.
Lindestaf picked up her 15th singles victory of the season in the No. 2 spot, as she rallied from a 6-4 set one deficit, to win set two 6-4 before taking the match 7-5 in the third set.
Eckerd remains at home tomorrow, Sunday, for its final competition of the season against Nova Southeastern at 1:00 PM.
