ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team dropped a contest at the Bullard Courts on Tuesday afternoon, falling 5-2.
Ericka Chavarria and Catherine Cole won the top doubles pairing in a tight contest, 7-5, but the Cavaliers won the other two slots.
Kylie Misdorp won the top pairing by retirement, taking the first set 6-5.
Olivia Lindestaf took the No. 2 slot in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0. However, Walsh took the next four positions for the win.
Eckerd returns to action on Friday in Orlando, facing Stonehill (Mass.) at 11:30 AM.
