ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team dropped a non-conference contest with Catawba (NC), 7-0, on Monday afternoon at the Bullard Courts.
Olivia Lindestaf won twice, taking her doubles and singles matches for Eckerd's lone point in singles action.
Catawba (4-1) took the top two flights in doubles action and five of six singles slots for the win.
Maialen Idiakez and Olivia Lindestaf battled for a victory in the No. 3 doubles slot, 6-3.
Lundestaf took her second point of the day with a victory in the No. 2 singles position, 6-3 and 6-2.
Kylie Misdorp battled in the top slot but came up short. 7-6 (7-4), 7-5.
Eckerd returns to action on Tuesday, hosting Walsh (Ohio) at 2:00 PM.
