Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team fell to the Palm Beach Atlantic Sailfish 6-1 on Wednesday afternoon on the road.
The Tritons (9-6) fell to the Sailfish (4-9) after dropping the doubles point in a split decision and winning one singles match.
Eckerd dropped the doubles point in a split decision to the Sailfish. Kylie Misdorp and Maya Soligo picked up their seventh doubles victory of the season in the No. 2 position 6-4.
In singles play, Misdorp picked up the lone point for the Tritons as she knocked off Palm Beach Atlantic's top player Williams 6-2, 6-1.
Olivia Lindestaf battled in the No. 2 position, where she bounced back 6-4 in set two after trailing 7-5 in set one forcing a third set. She dropped the third set 10-5.
The Tritons take a short break before they resume play next Wednesday as they travel to Winter Park, Fla. to face Rollins at 2:00 PM.
