ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd men's tennis team swept the Wartburg College Knights, 7-0 at the Fred Bullard Courts on Thursday morning.
The Tritons (3-3) swept the Knights (3-9) after sweeping the doubles point and all six singles matches.
Eckerd took all three doubles matches 6-2.
Marshall Hulett shut out Ola Palmertz 6-0 in straight sets in the No. 6 position. Batu Ataseven, Eric Asakura, and Phil Grueninger each limited their opponents to only one game win, as they all took their matches 6-1, 6-0 in the No. 1, 4, and 5 singles spots respectively.
Eckerd hosts Catawba (N.C.) on Monday at 3:00 PM on the Fred Bullard Courts.
