SAINT LEO, Fla. - With a win-an-in scenario, the Tritons did just that via a pair of second-half goals to secure their first SSC Tournament appearance since 2016. Samuel Musungie and Manuel Gonzalez added goals as the Eckerd men's soccer team topped Saint Leo, 2-1, on the road Friday evening.
SLU struck first with a goal in the 16th minute off a free kick. Both teams were quiet the rest of the half, with neither team adding a shot the rest of the way as EC trailed 1-0 at intermission.
