Tritons Sweep Rollins

WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team dominated Rollins in a straight-sets victory at Warden Arena on Wednesday night. 

Eckerd jumped out to a slight lead early in the first set and held onto the favor throughout before capping the stanza on a 5-1 run. A 9-1 run early in the second frame fueled a second-stanza victory, and a late 6-0 run in the third frame led the Tritons to a sweep.

FINAL: Eckerd 3, Rollins 0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-23) 
RECORDS: Eckerd 12-8 (5-7 SSC); Rollins 12-13 (3-11 SSC) 

NOTES AND NUMBERS 

• Stella Antypa led Eckerd with 11 kills. She also hit a blistering .400 percent with just one error on 25 attempts while adding nine digs.
• Hayden Nash and Natalie Aniol added six kills each. 
• Sydney Williams paced the back row with 19 digs. 
• Gabi Jedrzejczak nearly added a double-double with 25 assists and eight digs. 
• Kinga Michalska added 12 digs and four aces.
