BOCA RATON, Fla. - Despite rallying to win the second frame against the nationally-ranked Knights, the Eckerd volleyball team dropped its final road contest of the year, 3-1, to No. 16 Lynn on Saturday afternoon.
After a back-and-forth start to the match, Lynn went on a 7-2 run midway through the set to distance themselves. The second set echoed the first, but Eckerd had the 7-2 run midway through this time to take the edge and capped the frame with three straight points for the win. LU held a slim 19-17 lead towards the end of the third frame before they rolled off six straight points to take the third, and they cruised in the fourth to win the match.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Kinga Michalska led Eckerd with 16 kills, one shy of her career-high. She also hit at a .333 percent clip.
- Jaida Clark and Stella Antypa added eight kills each.
- Clark hit at a .429 percent clip while adding five blocks.
- Antypa added 18 digs as well.
- Gabi Jedrzejczak tallied 34 assists, eight digs, and three blocks.
- Michalska ends the year with 66 aces, ranking sixth in single-season records and five aces off from the top mark.
- The match marked the end of the careers of Eckerd's three seniors: Charlize Wittholz, Jaida Clark, and Stella Antypa.
