SAINT LEO, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team opened conference play, making quick work of Saint Leo on the road with a straight sets victory Wednesday night.
The Tritons opened the game with a 12-9 edge before going on a 7-2 run to distance themselves and take the first set. Eckerd used a 7-0 run midway through the second set to take it easily. EC cruised in the final frame, capping the set on four straight points.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Kinga Michalska led Eckerd with 12 kills and a .381 hitting percentage. She also added eight digs.
- Hayden Nash posted nine kills, hitting at a .412 percent clip. She also added four blocks.
- Gabi Jedrzejczak nearly posted a double-double with 27 assists and eight digs.
- Stella Antypa flirted with a double-double with seven kills and eight digs.
- Sydney Williams added 11 digs to led the back row.

Eckerd returns to action on Saturday in SSC action against Barry. Due to the campus closure from the impact of Hurricane Helene, the game will be played at the University of Tampa at 7:00 PM.
