WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Sailfish used a 62 present shooting clip in the first half to build a large lead over the Tritons as the Eckerd men's basketball team dropped a road contest, 108-86, at Palm Beach Atlantic Saturday afternoon.
After a back-and-forth start to the game over the first 10 minutes, the Sailfish went on an 18-2 run to take a 20-point advantage at the six-minute mark. PBA capped the half with 20 consecutive points to take a 62-27 favor at intermission.
Eckerd opened the second half with a 17-5 stretch to cut its deficit to 25 at 69-44 over the opening four minutes. The Tritons cut their deficit to 21 at 12:26 but could not come any closer as PBA cruised the rest of the way for a 108-86 win.

- Eckerd held a 42-32 advantage on the boards. Timothy Thompson paced the team with seven.
