SAINT PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team fell 7-0 on Thursday afternoon to the No. 4 Lynn Fighting Knights at the Bullard Courts.
The Tritons (2-12) fell to the Knights (15-3) after dropping the doubles point and all six singles matches.
Alexis Kwasnik and Raia Jagger came closest in the No. 2 draw, putting up two wins against the pairing of Kristen Younes and Zofia Podbiol. Kwasnik and Jagger fell 6-2. Ericka Chavarria and Julia Triska also won a game, falling 6-1 to Barbora Cibakova and Giorgia Pigato.
Three Tritons won four games in singles play. Kylie Misdorp fell 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 1 slot, Kwasnik fell 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 3 draw, and Raia Jagger fell 6-2, 6-2 in the No. 4 position.
The Tritons have their final regular season road trip of the year, facing Barry and Nova Southeastern next weekend. Eckerd will play at Barry at 1:00 PM on April 15.
