ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team dropped its SSC Senior Day matchup to Rollins, 7-0, on the Bullard Courts Saturday afternoon.
The Tritons (2-7; 0-4 SSC) dropped the doubles points and fell in all six singles matches to the Tars (5-4; 2-2 SSC).
Ericka Chavarria and
Raia Jagger battled in the No. 3 doubles position taking four games but falling 6-4.
Chavarria nearly gave EC a point in the No. 3 singles slot. She dropped the first set, 6-4, but rallied to take the second, 6-2. However, she fell in the third set, 10-3.
Aleksis won seven games in the No. 4 position but fell 6-4, 6-4.
Eckerd returns to action on Monday, hosting St. Mary's University at 2:30 PM.
