Tritons Fall at Embry-Riddle

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team dropped an SSC road contest, 7-0, at Embry-Riddle on Saturday afternoon.

Embry-Riddle (2-3, 1-3 SSC) took the doubles point before taking all six singles matches from Eckerd (1-3; 0-3 SSC) in straight sets. 

Kylie Misdorp and Maya Soligo in No. 1 doubles and Raia Jagger and Ericka Chavarria in No. 3 doubles battled, but both ultimately fell, 6-3. 

Kyle Misdorp dropped her opening set in No. 2 singles but nearly took the second, winning six games before falling 7-6. 

Chavarria in the No. 1 slot and Alexis Kwasnik in the No. 4 draw won two games each, but both dropped their matches, 6-1, 6-1. 

Eckerd returns to action on Thursday, hosting Salem (WV) for EC's Teal Out match at 3:00 PM.
