WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Tritons volleyball team rallied through a back-and-forth contest at Rollins on Friday night as Eckerd prevailed 3-2 in a five-set thriller.
Rollins took an early 10-3 lead in the opening set to fuel a 25-15 win. Eckerd and the Tars traded points throughout the second frame, but EC took the set with three consecutive kills 32-20. The Tritons finished the third stanza on a 12-5 run to take the set 25-21.
The Tars jumped to a quick start in the fourth set to win the frame 25-19 to force a decisive fifth set. Eckerd took control of the final stanza with seven consecutive points before taking the win on a Nyla Muskovin kill, 15-12.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Stella Antypa (18 kills, 15 digs) and Aleksa Curta (20 assists, 12 digs) posted double-doubles.
- Antypa's 18 kills set a career-high. She rounded out her stat line with three aces and a .255 hitting percentage.
- Ashley Eck posted 21 digs to lead the defense. She has posted 20-plus digs four times this season.
- Four Tritons nearly added double-digit kills as Kalli Schoening, Jaida Clark, and Nyla Muskovin added nine, while Seiler Hruska added eight.
- Clark hit at a .444 percent clip.
