FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - Despite a pair of tight opening sets, the Eckerd volleyball team dropped a 3-0 road decision at Nova Southeastern Friday night.
Eckerd held a slight favor early on in the first set before the Sharks went on a 6-2 run to take an 18-14 lead. EC evened the score at 23-23, but NSU took the last two points to take the set. EC and NSU swapped leads throughout the second set, with the Sharks holding a slim 23-22 lead before Nova Southeastern took the stanza, 25-22. The Sharks held a steady edge in the final set, taking the match, 25-19.Â
