WINTER PARK, Fla. - Despite a 4-2 lead over the nationally-ranked Tars, the Eckerd baseball team was unable to fend off No. 11 Rollins' surge in the third through sixth innings as the Tritons fell, 12-5, in a non-conference contest at Alfond Stadium on Tuesday.
RC scored early with a pair of runs in the first inning on an RBI single and a sacrifice fly. EC rallied to take a 4-2 lead in the third via a Michael Ballard two-run homerun and a two-RBI double by Jake Andriole.
