WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team fell to Rollins, 7-0, at the Bert W. Martin Tennis Complex Tuesday afternoon.
The Tars (4-4, 2-1 SSC) beat the Tritons (1-6, 0-5 SSC) after earning the doubles point and winning all six singles matches.
The No. 1 doubles draw of Alexis Kwasnik and Raia Jagger and the No. 3 doubles slot of Theo Schultz and Lili Reichert won one game but ultimately fell 6-1. Kylie Misdorp and Julia Triska managed to win two games out of the No. 2 position, losing 6-2.
In the No. 1 singles slot, Misdorp battled and won three games, losing 6-1 and 6-2. Kwasnik won four games across both sets, falling to Maria McKay 6-3 and 6-1. Jagger proved tough, as she won seven games total but was defeated 6-4 and 6-3.
The Tritons travel to Orlando for a neutral site match against The University of Mary (N.D.) on Wednesday at 8:00 AM.
