WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Eckerd men's soccer team fell 2-0 on a pair of second-half goals at Palm Beach Atlantic Tuesday night.
Neither team was able to generate much offense in the opening half. The Tritons looked to strike first in the 73rd minute on a Joao Gouveia shot, but his attempt was turned back. The Sailfish took a 1-0 lead in the 76th minute on a Federico Serra shot to the top right corner. Yannick Toth gave PBA a 2-0 lead in the 82nd minute, converting on a free kick. EC was unable to place a shot in the final minutes.
