TAMPA, Fla. - The Eckerd men's soccer team fell in its season finale, 1-0, at Tampa Friday night following a Spartans' first-half goal.
Tampa pressured early with five shots inside the first 15 minutes, but the Tritons turned back each. Blake Bauer had a quality chance in the 18th minute, but his shot was stopped. Amgad Salah put Tampa on the board in the 35th minute as the Spartans took a 1-0 lead at the break.
UT pressured again throughout the second half, but the Triton defense kept the Spartans off the board. EC was unable to place a shot to equalize, falling 1-0.
