ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd men's tennis team fell to Rollins by a 7-0 decision Friday afternoon at the Bullard Courts.
The duo of Christian Kearns and Sam Walker battled in the No. 3 doubles slot, narrowly falling to Rollins' Mikkel Baumann and Freddy Danielson, 7-5.
The Tars (1-4, 1-4 SSC) also won the No. 1 and 2 draws to take the doubles point before taking all six singles slots in straight sets.
Prakrut Patel battled early in the No. 2 singles slot, falling 7-5 before dropping the second set, 6-1.
Playing in the No. 3 singles slot, Walker took three games in each set before falling 6-3, 6-3.
Eckerd (0-6, 0-6 SSC) concludes the season on Sunday with a trip to No. 2 Barry at 1:00 PM.
