ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.- Playing in their third match in four days, the Eckerd women's tennis team returned to the Bullard Courts Sunday afternoon, falling to Rollins, 7-0.
Rollins (2-3, 2-3 SSC) took all three doubles matches in short order to earn the first point of the afternoon. The Tars then went on to sweep the six singles contests.
In the No. 1 singles position, Taylor Selby hung close with Georgia Groth, but Groth took each set by scores of 6-3.Â
Angelina Kossoff battled late in the No. 6 slot taking three games in the second set before falling 6-1, 6-3.Â
Theo Schultz managed to take three games from RC's Eve Wasil, ultimately dropping to match 6-2, 6-1.Â
Eckerd (0-7, 0-7 SSC) returns to action on Thursday for its final home match of the season against No. 3 Lynn at 2:00 PM. Â
