WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd men's soccer team fell, 3-1, Saturday night in a Sunshine State Conference road matchup at Rollins.
Rollins jumped out to a quick lead with a goal in the sixth minute off the foot of Mason Lamb. Eckerd had a quality look for the equalizer late in the half, but Ty Dolan's attempt in the 43rd minute was turned back as RC took a 1-0 lead into halftime.
Rollins' Georgios Koliniatis added a goal in the 53rd minute. However, Dolan responded to pull the Tritons within one just 40 seconds later on a counter-attack as EC trailed 2-1. The Tars added an insurance goal in the final minute.
