ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. Myron Hagins made the most of his last time in a Triton uniform as he scored 31 points to lead the Eckerd men's basketball team to an SSC win over Rollins, 77-66, at the McArthur Center Saturday afternoon.
The teams traded large runs through the majority of the game, with Rollins rallying to keep themselves in the game each time until a 12-2 run midway through the second half propelled the Tritons to the senior day victory.

- Eckerd took a slight 6-4 favor at the 17:00 mark before back-to-back triples from Hagins and Robert Colarusso ignited a string of 18 straight points over the next five minutes as EC took a 20-4 lead.Â
- The Tritons pushed out to a 21-point lead on a Kristiyan Stavrev triple at the 10:00 mark, but Rollins answered with a 17-0 run over the next five minutes to pull within four at 32-28. RC then pulled within one with 1:21 left, but a late Phillip Cirillo 3-pointer gave EC a 38-34 lead at halftime.Â
- Eckerd opened the second half rolling off eight consecutive points to go ahead by 12 at 46-34. Rollins answered with a 12-2 run to pull within two points with 12:46 left. However, four straight triples by Hagins as part of a 12-2 run gave the Tritons a 13-point advantage with 7:05 left. Eckerd maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the way as they took the 11-point victory.Â

- Hagins produced a strong all-around performance of 31 points, nine rebounds, three steals, and one block. His 31 points were four points shy of his career-high.Â
- Admir Radoncic rounded out the double-figure scorers with 14 points.
- Eckerd held a 45-33 favor on the boards. Hagins led the way with Stavrev and Malcolm Whitlow each grabbing seven.
- Eckerd's five seniors – Colarusso, Stavrev, Hagins, Travis Bianco, and Radoncic- were honored before the game. All five seniors started the game.
- Eckerd honored the 25th anniversary of 1994-95 men's basketball team at halftime in addition to honoring official scorer Bill Thornton for 50 years of service to Eckerd athletics.
