BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Eckerd women's tennis team was defeated 7-0 by No. 2 Lynn on Saturday afternoon at the Perper Tennis Complex.
The Tritons (0-3, 0-3 SSC) were swept in doubles competition by Lynn (5-0, 3-0 SSC) and the Knights went on to take all six singles matches.
Theo Schultz won a combined three sets in No. 4 singles but ultimately fell 6-2, 6-1 to Valeriya Pogrebnyak.
Cassidy Lear faced Irina Lapustina in No. 5 singles and picked up four sets in the match but was defeated 6-3, 6-1.
The Tritons head home tomorrow as they host Grace College (Ind.) at 10:00 AM at the Bullard Courts.
