th Sunshine State Conference victory.

A 20-2 run midway through the first quarter and into the second gave the Tritons a double-digit lead that fueled an early surge as Eckerd earned the season sweep of the Knights.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Knights got off to a quick start as they took a 6-0 lead inside the first minute of play. Lynn maintained between a four and six-point lead until the midway point of the period before a pair of driving layups by Eneritz Larranaga ignited a 13-2 Triton run to end the first with EC up 19-13.Â
- Eckerd opened the second quarter with a 7-0 run to take a 26-13 lead at the 8:08 mark. LU cut the deficit to 11 one minute later, but a quick five points by Zoe Richards with four minutes left gave EC a 17 point lead. The Tritons maintained a double-digit lead the rest of the half with a Maya Price triple just before the half giving Eckerd 43-27 lead.Â
- Richards opened the second half for the Tritons with a jumper that started an 11-2 run over the first five minutes giving EC a 25-point lead at 54-29. The Tritons ended the quarter with a 9-3 run as they took a 63-35 lead into the fourth.
- Eckerd maintained a comfortable lead throughout the rest of the game as a Mikayla Kuehne layup with 7:57 left gave EC its largest lead of the night at 31. However, Lynn responded with a 17-0 run over the next six minutes to cut EC's lead down to 14, but Eckerd got a quick five points to fend off the late Lynn push.Â
NOTED AND NUMBERSÂ
- Richards led Eckerd with 17 points while Kuehne followed with 15. Larranaga and Octavia Loll rounded out the double-figure scorers with 12 points each.Â
- Eckerd dominated the boards with a 34-20 favor. Loll led EC with seven rebounds while Kuehne had six.Â
- Loll flirted with a triple-double as she also dished out nine assists, which is one off her career-high.Â
- The Tritons shot 53.3 percent from the field while holding the Knights to a 36.8 field-goal percentage.Â
- Eckerd collected the season sweep of Lynn for the second straight year.
- EC still sits second in the conference with just two weeks remaining in the regular season.Â

"The team had a strong overall performance today in all aspects of the game," said head coach
Paul Honsinger. "We attacked the basket well on offense, defended well as a unit, and had great energy on the boards. It was a convincing win on the road and I'm proud of our group for another conference sweep."
