MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The Triton women's tennis team fell to the No. 1 team in the country on Saturday as Eckerd lost at Barry University, 6-1.
Angelina Kossoff scored the team's lone win at No. 6 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 victory over Carla Davila.
The Bucs (17-1, 7-1 SSC) breezed through doubles with three 6-0 wins. Â The top-ranked team in NCAA Division 2 then won four singles matches without dropping a game.
Taylor Selby managed to take a game in the second set from No. 42 Carolin Schmidt.
The Tritons (6-13, 0-9 SSC) will bring an end to the season on Sunday with a match at Nova Southeastern at 10:00 AM.
