ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team wrapped up its home schedule on Thursday falling to Rollins College at the Bullard Courts, 7-0.
The Tars (9-9, 3-5 SSC) took all three doubles matches in short order to earn the first point of the afternoon. Â Rollins then went on to sweep the six singles contests, all in straight sets.
Taylor Selby hung close with Alexandra Borg at No. 1 singles before Borg emerged with 6-3 victories in each set.
Angelina Kossoff came back from a 6-0 loss in the first set to challenge Marie Debruyn in the second set at No. 6 singles, but Debruyn ended up closing out the match with a 6-3 win.
The Tritons (6-12, 0-8 SSC) travel to face No. 2 Barry University on Saturday for a 1:00 PM start.
