Rollins Hands Tritons Defeat in Final Home Match

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team wrapped up its home schedule on Thursday falling to Rollins College at the Bullard Courts, 7-0.

The Tars (9-9, 3-5 SSC) took all three doubles matches in short order to earn the first point of the afternoon.  Rollins then went on to sweep the six singles contests, all in straight sets.

Taylor Selby hung close with Alexandra Borg at No. 1 singles before Borg emerged with 6-3 victories in each set.

Angelina Kossoff came back from a 6-0 loss in the first set to challenge Marie Debruyn in the second set at No. 6 singles, but Debruyn ended up closing out the match with a 6-3 win.

The Tritons (6-12, 0-8 SSC) travel to face No. 2 Barry University on Saturday for a 1:00 PM start.
