ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team had its hands full against the No. 2 team in the nation, falling to Lynn University on Wednesday at the Bullard Courts, 4-0.
The Fighting Knights (7-0, 3-0 SSC) took all three doubles matches by 6-0 scores to earn the point heading into singles play. With rain quickly moving in, the first three singles matches were completed - all Lynn victories - before the final three were not started due to weather.
The Tritons (0-3, 0-2 SSC) return to the court on Monday with a visit to the University of Tampa for a 3:00 PM start.
