KEY MOMENTS

  • Embry-Riddle scored again with two outs in the second for a 3-0 lead. Skylar Redish then tied the game at 3-3 with her second homerun of the season, a three-run shot to left-center.
  • The Eagles reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the inning on a two-run single, only to see the Tritons tie it again in the top of the fourth on a two-out, two-run double by Hannah Famiano.
  • ERAU went back ahead for good in the bottom of the fourth after a single and two hit batters loaded the bases, setting the table for Katy Thompson's two-RBI single. The Eagles later added another run for an 8-5 lead.
  • The Tritons threatened in the top of the fifth after a Nikole Van Gennep single and Redish walk led off the inning, but reliever Lisa Hop retired the next three batters.
  • Runs continued to cross for ERAU in the next two innings scoring three in the fifth and two in the sixth to end the game via run rule.

  • Redish's homerun was her second in the last three games.  Eckerd leads the SSC in homeruns.
