BOCA RATON, Fla. – Lynn's efficient offense was difficult to overcome as the Eckerd volleyball team fell in straight sets Friday night at the de Hoernle Sports and Cultural Center.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Tritons started the first set with a kill from Agata Sklepik before the teams traded points with neither side able to string more than three consecutive points early on. Lynn went on a five-point run to take a 14-11 lead before Eckerd struck back with three straight points to bring them within one. Lynn followed with a 10-3 run, making it 24-17. The Tritons battled at set-point with kills from Sklepik and Rachel Wisian before falling to the Fighting Knights, 25-20.
- Eckerd kicked off the second set by taking an early 3-1 lead with the help of a kill from Paula Hoffmann. Lynn quickly answered with a 7-1 run to gain the lead, which they held for the remainder of the set. EC managed to pull within two at 15-13 following a Lynn error. The Knights went on to take the set, 25-17, following a 5-1 run.
- The Fighting Knights started the third set with a 7-1 run before a kill from Asya Harris ended the stretch. Lynn used an 11-1 run to take a 23-7 lead before the Tritons went on a late 5-1 rally in the set. Eckerd's late run wasn't enough as Lynn took the match, 25-12.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Sydney Case reached 1,000 assists this season, becoming the seventh Triton to do so in a single season. She now has 2,244 assists over her career at Eckerd and the University of Nebraska- Omaha.
- Wisian led the Eckerd attack with six kills and a .353 hitting percentage.
- Hoffmann led the EC defense with 11 digs while Dana Dull and Luana Rezende both added nine.
