WINTER PARK, Fla. - The Eckerd volleyball team used a .336 hitting percentage to defeat Rollins in four sets at the Alfond Sports Center Thursday night.

KEY MOMENTS
- A Paula Hoffmann kill capped a run of five straight points as Eckerd took an early 7-3 lead. EC held a small lead over the next few rallies before a Sarah Johnshoy kill gave the Tritons a five-point lead at 17-12. The Tars responded with a 7-2 run to even the score at 19-19 before Eckerd used a 4-1 run to pull ahead by three. An Asya Harris kill gave Eckerd the set at 25-22.
- Eckerd again used an early five-point run to take a quick 7-2 lead in the second set. The Tritons extended their lead by eight points following a 4-0 run capped by an Agata Sklepik and Rachel Wisian block. EC maintained its commanding lead for the remainder of the set and took the set at 25-16 on a Dana Dull ace.
- The Tritons jumped out to a quick 6-3 lead before the Tars rolled off four straight points to take a one-point lead. Eckerd responded with a 7-1 rally to take a 15-9 lead before Rollins used a 9-1 run to pull ahead late at 20-18. An Anna Jungjohann kill evened the score at 22-22 before Rollins took the set, 25-23.
- Eckerd opened the fourth set on an 8-2 run to take an early lead. The Tritons later extended their lead to 17-6 following a 7-2 run. Eckerd maintained a significant lead for the rest of the set with back-to-back Jungjohann kills ending the match.

NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Sklepik led the Eckerd attack with 18 kills while Jungjohann set a new career-high with 15.
- Jungjohann hit a blistering .737 with only one error on 19 attempts.
- The Tritons recorded ten aces while Dull posted a career-high four.
