Dolan’s Brace Helps Lead Eckerd Past Saint Leo

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Eckerd men's soccer team used a pair of goals from Ty Dolan on its way to a 3-0 victory at Saint Leo Wednesday night.

Dolan netted goals in the 21st and 86th minutes while Agustin Pertusso converted on a penalty kick in the 78th minute to lead the Tritons to their second conference win of the season.

KEY MOMENTS
  • EC took an early look at goal following a corner kick in the fifth minute, but Nick Reinauer's shot on the set piece missed high. 
  • The Tritons got on the board quickly following a Dolan goal in the 21st minute. Dolan worked free at the top of the 18 and delivered a strike to the top right corner for the early goal.  
  • Eckerd nearly added to its score in the 60th minute, but Pertusso's shot was turned back by keeper Christian Evans. 
  • The Tritons doubled their lead in the 78th minute as Pertusso converted on a penalty kick inside the left post.
  • Dolan added his second goal of the night in the 86th minute. Dolan dribbled to the top of the 18 from the right side and delivered a left-footed strike to the far corner putting Eckerd up 3-0.
