MELBOURNE, Fla. - After falling behind in the first half, the Eckerd men's soccer team scored twice to equalize the match against No. 24 Florida Tech only to see the Panthers answer with two more goals to defeat the Tritons, 4-2, on Saturday.

KEY MOMENTS
- Eckerd found itself facing an early deficit for the second straight match after a foul in the box resulted in a penalty kick for Florida Tech in the fifth minute. Â Luca Campinini converted for a 1-0 lead.
- The score remained 1-0 until the 41st minute when the Panthers again awarded a penalty. Â This time it was Per Henrik Nag converting the kick, giving FIT a 2-0 lead.
- The Tritons scored early in the second half on their first shot of the night when Francisco Anaya finished a feed from Juan David Tejada in the 51st minute. Â However, EC found itself playing a man down moments later when Nick Reinauer was shown his second yellow card of the night.
- Eckerd equalized the match in the 61st minute on Agustin Pertusso's fourth goal of the year, again via Tejada pass.
- The Panthers reclaimed the lead two minutes later on a goal by Guillermo Segovia Marcos. Â Marcos added another goal in the 75th minute.
