MIAMI BEACH, Fla. - For the fifth straight game, the Triton pitching staff locked down opposing hitters, this time on the road at Barry University as Eckerd emerged with a 4-2 win to open a three-game conference series.
Dillon McCollough went seven strong innings before turning the ball over to
Joey Favetta, who worked out of a ninth-inning jam to earn his fourth save in a week.
Meanwhile, the Tritons used the long ball at the plate to generate offense on the strength of three home runs.
