DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Triton men's basketball team saw its offense return to its usual form on Wednesday night, shooting 52 percent from the floor and 50 percent from behind the 3-point arc on the way to a 90-84 win over Embry-Riddle.
Trevon Young and
Drushaun McLaurn each scored 21 points as the Tritons led wire-to-wire, although the Eagles stayed just close enough throughout much of the game to make that advantage feel not exactly comfortable.
Eckerd led by 15 points with 6:37 to play, only to see the Eagles charge back within four with 52 seconds left. Â The Tritons, however, capped a strong possession with a
Blake Morrow jumper and forced a miss by Embry-Riddle to effectively seal the win.
