DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Eckerd women's basketball team completed an undefeated weekend at the Bahama House Regional Crossover with an all-around dominant performance against Clark Atlanta at the ICI Center Sunday afternoon.
The Tritons held the Panthers to just 29 points, the fewest the team has allowed since 2002.

KEY MOMENTS
- Eckerd used a 7-0 run to open the game before the Panthers broke the run with two free throws. The Tritons followed with a 14-0 run highlighted by four Eckerd steals during the stretch. Abby Whiteye closed out the quarter with a layup after a Mikayla Kuehne steal to put Eckerd up, 27-6.
- The Panthers opened the quarter with a 5-0 run as the Tritons battled a bit of a slow start before Whiteye scored Eckerd's first points of the period just before the 6:00 mark. The teams traded points over the next three minutes before the Tritons went on an 8-0 run to end the quarter up, 40-17.
- EC continued its hot hand opening the second half with an 11-0 run capped by a steal and score by Chelsea Johnson and Yarden Danan. The Tritons used an 8-0 run late in the quarter to go up by 39 (59-20) heading into the final quarter.
- The Tritons used a 14-2 run to open the fourth period giving Eckerd its largest lead of the afternoon of 51 points before Clark Atlanta closed out the game with a 7-0 run to cut the deficit to 44.
NOTES AND NUMBERS
- Three Tritons scored in the double figures as Danan led all scorers with 18 points while Whiteye and Armi Anttila added 13 and 11 respectively. Anttila also added three blocks and three steals.
- Octavia Loll and Kuehne led the team on the boards with seven rebounds apiece while Loll also added seven assists.
- Eckerd forced 26 turnovers while converting to 30 points off those turnovers. The 26 turnovers forced are the most since 26 against West Alabama in last years season opener.
- The 29 points are the fewest points Eckerd has allowed since beating Peurto Rico-Cayey,106-17, on November 24, 2002.
