LAKELAND, Fla. - An early lead quickly evaporated for the Eckerd men's soccer team on Wednesday night at Florida Southern as the Mocs scored seven unanswered goals on the way to a 7-1 win.

KEY MOMENTS
- The Tritons turned back several early chances by Florida Southern before striking first in the 28th minute on a 23-yard strike by Pedro Galvao that sailed in underneath the crossbar via a Westleigh Rush pass.
- FSC equalized the match 32 seconds later on a goal by James Meehan, the first of four that came in a 14-minute span. Â The Mocs converted a corner kick in the 32nd minute and punched in two more goals in the final minutes before halftime.
- Eckerd kept Florida Southern scoreless for the first 20 minutes of the second half before Alberto Diaz made it 5-1 after gathering a loss ball outside the box and scoring. Â The Mocs added two more goals in the 71st and 80th minutes.
