MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The Eckerd women's tennis team completed a busy week with a difficult task, visiting No. 3 Barry University.
The Bucs (21-0, 9-0 SSC) lived up to their billing, powering their way to a 9-0 win over the Tritons.
The SSC regular season champions swept doubles with only
MaryAnn Aaron and
Bailey Koronich taking a game in the three contests.
Barry then won at the first five singles positions by scores of 6-0, 6-0. Â
Isabella Wong, at No. 6 singles, lost her first set to Mara Cerrini, 6-3, before Cerrini took a 6-0 win in the second set.
Eckerd (4-12, 0-8 SSC) visits the University of Tampa on Tuesday.
